Aziza Illustrates emerged out of the need for affordable representation of black individuals on greeting cards. Frustrated by the scarcity of cards featuring African and Caribbean characters with an original flair, I decided to create my own. Starting in 2011, I crafted homemade greeting cards for family and friends, witnessing the unforgettable joy on their faces when they received a bespoke card. Over time, Aziza Illustrates expanded beyond cards, encompassing books, artwork, stationery, drinkware, business services, and bespoke portraits. The brand remains committed to its initial purpose: bringing representation to everyday moments. The name Aziza, signifying cherished, respected, precious, and beloved, encapsulates the essence of our creations.
